Needed to head downtown after work, so I decided to try The Diamond Club instead of Follies. I had never been to the club, so I figured I should give it a shot.

When you walk in the bar is directly in front of you with a small stage to the left and the main stage to the immediate right. The club has several nooks and crannies, so it's a little weird.

I grabbed a Yuengling ($5.50), and sat near the main stage. A few average girls danced on the stage. They were slightly older, but decent. I tipped a couple girls, but couldn't get a girl to come dance or sit with me. Most of the girls sat at the bar or at a table, and didn't seem interested in working. Apparently, the DJ got sick, so the girls weren't too stoked to dance to the 80's mix that was playing. Frankly, I loved the music.

I finally commented to a girl on stage that I wanted a dance, but no one seemed to care. She summoned a girl who gave me two decent dances. Nice enough, but I was mad I didn't drive to Follies.

I might check it out again, but I won't expect much. Maybe I caught it on a bad day.
