I gave Sunset Strip a try...

I gave Sunset Strip a try late in the afternoon on a Wednesday. There was no cover to get in at five. They have two stages, one in the middle of the room and one against the back wall. The room is very dark with most of the lighting being black lights. The bar along one wall is very nice looking, as was what I could see of the bartender. There are a few tables scattered around the room, a bunch of video lottery machines and several booths along the wall opposite the bar. Oddly, all of the booths had a "Reserved" sign on them.

Six or eight dancers were on shift when I arrived. Among them were a MILFy blonde spinner, a tall thin brunette, a couple of tall somewhat stocky blondes, and a couple of short thick brunettes. I may have forgotten one or two additional girls. I remember being surprised at how many dancers were there so early mid-week. The ethnic mix of dancers was white with, maybe, one Latina. On the 1-10 scale I'd rate them all between 5 and 7.

I sat down at the bar and ordered a well drink for $3. After her set one of the girls sat down next to me to "get acquainted." We chatted for quite a while before one of the other customers tapped her on the shoulder and asked if he could get a dance. After she left I chatted with some of the other dancers sitting at the bar. All were friendly and laid back. There was no pressure to get dances, though I was reminded a time or two that dances are available.
