There have been some management changes...

There have been some management changes at this club. The two senior managers were suddenly fired by corporate and replaced by some mangers from the LD club next door. It was a shock, but the hopes are they will bring some much needed energy and excitement back to this club.

There have been some minor physical changes too. They have added two small side stages. Somewhat like the stages in the Lansing club. However, instead of rotating the dancers thru from stage 1, to stage 2, to main, as is the norm in Lansing, they just randomly call dancers to dance at the side stages. I much prefer the Lansing method. Gives you a chance to see who's on deck and the opporunity to move up to the main stage if a dancer of interest is coming to the plate. Even on a Saturday night, these stages were under utilized, but the crowd was sparse. It's been slow at this club and the nice weather of the summer time isn't helping matters.

There is also a rumor that a few more VIP rooms could be added. I'm not sure why, because I really don't see that much activity as it is in the four available rooms. But the new mamagers hope with new rooms, they can promote the VIPs more. Don't get it really. If they really want to promote the roons, they need to lower the price, remove the cameras, and loosen the rules. It's still $200 for a half hour. That's mighty steep for a K'zoo club.
