While on vacation in Orlando, I wanted to take my wife to a world-class gentleman’s club. Being familiar with the offerings in the Tampa area, I thought of my “previous life” experiences at Scarlett’s at Ybor Strip and decided to take her there. With the I-4 70-mph speed limit all the way through Tampa, and without speeding too much, we were there in about an hour and 20 minutes. To start the evening, though, we went a little further and stopped first at Thee Dollhouse for drinks. Like recent reviewers have remarked, the club is gorgeous, everything seems new and polished. The waitresses were almost as equally hot as *some* of the dancers, and we were served quickly and with no pressure afterwards. The quality of the dancers was good, we didn’t spend enough time to see the whole rotation but from what we saw on the main stage and on the floor, the dancers were mostly 7-8-9’s, with a 5 thrown in there for variety. The highlight of my visit was Britney, a stunning blonde with a body to die for. I tipped her at the stage, she later came by and greeted us and was very nice. We didn’t get any lap dances since we had plans for the night but I thought this club must be awesome on a Friday or Saturday night. We were there on a (holiday) Monday night, got there about 9:30pm, so apart from another two couples and a few people at the bar, the place was empty. There’s actually a GIANT screen covering the whole back of the main stage, playing music videos to which the ladies dance to, which I thought was a good idea. However, when Beyonce or Katy Perry are up there on the giant screen it’s kind of distracting !! ;-) I would recommend playing more Aerosmith/Van Halen/Sammy Hagar/etc. and less Beyonce/Katy Perry/etc. There are two more flat screen TVs on either side of the stage, playing sport channels. The dancers, however, wore pasties and that was a HUGE turn-off for both of us. All in all I thought it worked ok for us, we had fun while we had drinks, they had beautiful dancers, very nice furniture & décor, the layout of the club is great, I really have nothing bad to say about the place, except the use of pasties, which make the whole thing kind of pointless. I hope to go back one day on a Friday or Saturday night to experience the “real” atmosphere. Recommended if you don’t mind the pasties.
