How did I get stuck in Myrtle Beach again? Well no reason to cry over spilled milk, and it's been awhile since I've been to the notorious Fantails. The only consistent thing about this place is that it always feels sleazy and the vast majority of dancers fit that bill perfectly. If you find a 7 or better, it's just this side of a miracle. Having said that, if your objective is to go upstairs to the VIP, or get some decent mileage downstairs or better yet negotiate some outside the club activity without taking a second mortgage, the less attractive gals are the ticket. On this trip I did find two young ladies (with names no one can remember for over 24 hours), who were interested enough in my line of BS to do a creditable job downstairs. These strategies seem to work: wear your summer uniform (for easy access), blatantly ask for a preview of coming attractions (out front or downstairs VIP) and give every indication that you can't wait to spend some bread upstairs. Several gals will either see through you line of crap or be unwilling to give previews; but invariably the word will get around that you may be ripe to spend some significant bucks. Then the serious dancers will seek you out, and you go from there. I'm not an upstairs or OTC kind of guy, but like to get my stick shifted downstairs, and as noted above two young (that may be stretching it a bit) ladies did accommodate my wishes. If you're stuck in MB and like a sleazy place, Fantails may be right up your alley. Peter Gozinia
