I went to this club with high expectations after reading the good reviews. It was on a Friday night, at around 11PM I left Tootsie's because it got too crowded. I got to Wonderland in about 20 minutes. Its located north of the Design District. Parking was $5 and cover $20. Once inside I noticed the place is big and luxurious but there were only 3 tables with customers. I headed to the bathroom and 4 employees were chit-chatting inside, I had to pee standing next to this guys speaking spanish so loud I could not hear my own thoughts. This was supposed to be a classy place and my first impression was that maybe the manager was not there and employees were just doing whatever they wanted. Washed my hands, tipped and I was out. Looked for a table and picked an unmarked table near the stage. Girls looked very good but most of them were interested in socializing among each other than making money. I waited 5 minutes, and the waitress looked at me and kept chatting with other employees at the bar. 10 more minutes and nothing... 15 more minutes and a very cute dancer approaches me to chat, she was a 9 and tells me that this place is slow until about 2 AM. A couple of minutes later... finally the manager approaches my table... I thought he would say "Welcome, sorry for the wait, I will send a waitress to take your order" or something like that, instead he tells me "You need to move, this table is reserved". There was no sign and no way to distinguish this from the rest of the tables, the all looked exactly the same and my table had nothing special. I wasn't dressed like a bum or anything like that and had enough cash to spend and have a good time... but there is a reason for this place to be empty on a Friday night... Epiphany! I should've stayed at Tootsie's!!! I could've had another lap dance with the $25 I wasted here and not wasted my time.

If you are curious to see Wonderland you'd better hurry, I can't imagine this place staying in business for too long.
