Stopped by Brad's on Wednesday evening. Ive been hearing a lot of rumors that ever since they doubled their dance prices that business was down, girls were moving on to other clubs, and that the girls even though they are making more per dance are getting less dances and taking home less money. After paying my cover ($7) I sat by the stage and drank my beer ($4.50) and tipped almost all the girls as they danced on stage. My plan was to casually interview as many girls as I could; as they came by and I bought dollar dances to see just what their feelings were about the change in prices and how it was effecting them and if it was having an effect on them. I interviewd several girls, whose names I will not mention, to see how they felt and I would say that 2-1 the girls who had been there before the increase were unhappy about the prices being raised. Several new girls have come on since and they didnt have an opinion naturally but they also have heard the other girls grumbling about it. I could tell at least that night, business was down. Where it used to be so crowded at times it was hard to get a table and hard to get dances this time there were plenty of open tables and lots of girls asking for dances. The next shoe to drop is that Brads is going to go "non-smoking". If the mgmt continues with this plan word has it that the "house moms" will go to mgmt and try to get them to lower the dance prices again. The girls feel that having doubled the dance prices, then going non smoking will chase away too many customers. Even though I dont smoke I tend to agree with them. I spent most of my time talking with the girls and tipping on stage and wasnt really planning on getting any private dances. Then one girl came on stage (whom I had not talked to or interviewed) by the name of A-Lay'-a (not sure of the spelling so am spelling it phoneticly). A-Lay-a was so sensual in her stage performance and the way she gave me a dollar dance afterwards that I just had to try a private dance with her. We went back afterwards for 2 private dances ($40 total) and the private dances were so off the chart and sensual; 2-way high milage, that I couldnt resist a 30 minute VIP ($100). We immediately went to the VIP room to start our VIP and I never had so much fun in a VIP. (the only complaint I have with the VIP room is it is not very private. It is an open area lined with couches, however with dimmer lighting than the private dance room, and the "house moms" come in in the middle of your dance to collect the money. Also the servers come back and try to sell you beer during your dance. I thought that was tacky) Other than that I was happy with my girl and went home with a big grin on my face. My girl A-Lay-a took good care of me in VIP and gave me a great time. So if you are in the area give Brads a try. It may not be quite as good as it was before but the girls I saw are trying harder to help you have a good time. Give them a chance to show you that Brads is still a Fun Place and if you see A-Lay-a get some dances or maybe even a VIP from her. You wont be disappointed. I know I wasnt. In fact Im going back as soon as I can and Im going to see A-Lay-a. I want to have some more of that fun !
