Was going to go to the nearby Penthouse club but the line was out the door and someone said it was a half-hour wait to get in. The Hustler club, despite being on Bourbon Street, was fairly empty for a Friday night which was fine with me. Lots of room to move around, and more time with the dancers.

The club itself has a nice layout on the bottom floor with a center stage, a long bar off to the side, and another couple of side stages (one of which was in use on this night). The girl from the main stage would proceed to the smaller side act after her first set, so you can bounce back and forth if a girl catches your eye. The top floor was "VIP" and a few of the more sought after girls were gone for some length of time up there, but it didn't seem worth it to me to pay the extra door fee to get admission (the top floor I wager has the Bourbon Street balcony).

Everyone was pleasant, and the dancers were not pushy. In fact, the girls that were more aggressive in asking for dances turned out to give the much better lap dances. I got 4 from 4 different girls, and the two hottest dancers that I sought out were in an end of the night mood and weren't all that enthusiastic, just sort of did enough to pass as adequate. There were no "10s" but just about all the dancers were 6's or above in looks.
