Well for what it's worth I'll do a belated review of La Chambre. I had high expectations based on the reviews here, plus my buddies who live in Detroit said they had been here a couple times recently and had a blast. So last time I was there (ok, it was in November) we of course had to check this place out.

Like other folks said, this joint is in a strip mall, which is exactly at the northeast corner of the I96 and Telegraph interchange. The construction made it kind of weird, but I imagine it is straightened out by now.

At the north end of the strip mall there is an ATM without punitive fees in a payday loan place, and a few doors south of La Chambre is some kind of dance club, lots of folks hanging around in the parking lot and valet parking was set up in a large section of the strip mall's parking lot. Get there early and park on the north end of the lot to avoid the valet.
