Silk Exotic is the first club...

Silk Exotic is the first club I visited after moving to the Milwaukee area based on the suggestion of a friend. I had a tough time finding the entrance of the club because the main entrance is off of Lover's Lane Rd. as opposed to Silvernail as one would assume from the address. The club is in a large building that it shares with a comedy club. The interior is gorgeous and the staff does a great job keeping the facilities clean. The club has one stage with 4 separate poles. Early in the evening only two of the 4 poles were used but once the club began to fill up all 4 were put to use. The stage dances ranged from solid to slightly underwhelming, depending on the girl.

The club also had a fairly large and comfortable private dance area. Every hour the club did a promotion that involved discounted dances and/or a t-shirt or hat that came with your dance (the discounts were nice but I have little use for strip club gear). There were a large number of dancers and I figure anyone can find a girl that does the trick for them. I ended up taking several trips for private dances. The girls gave good dances, but were bound by a strict policy restricting them to one-way touching. There seemed to be cameras on all of the dance booths and I get the feeling they are monitored closely. If it's your thing, you may find a girl willing to stretch the rules if you look hard enough. One dancer claimed there could be two-way contact in the VIP room, but I had no interest in finding out how honest she was.

The most notable positive I came across were the $10 shot dances on the floor. You get a cheap shot and 1 song dance (clothes on) from the waitress. I could live without the shot but the dances from the waitresses were of the same quality as those in the private booths. The most notable negative is the girls hitting the floor following their stage show to solicit tips. The closer you sit to the girls' locker room, the more likely you are to get bothered. I'm more than willing to tip a girl whose performance I appreciate, but am severely turned off by this practice.
