The Downer is an all-time favorite...

The Downer is an all-time favorite lap-dance emporium, but I hadn't visited in a year and a half. Finally stopped waiting for the exchange rate to improve, and put the much closer Detroit clubs on hold for a bit. Was only in Niagara for one night, and had an underwhelming stop at Penthouse before deciding to return to ol' reliable. Club remains somewhat well-worn (especially the restrooms), but honestly who cares. I don't like the atmosphere here when it's super-busy; too loud, too crazy, too hard to get with your dancer of choice. This late Wednesday evening was dazzling; just loaded with sexy female talent, but nowhere near full of clientele (was easy to get a seat near the main stage). This super-favorable ratio led to some rather aggressive dancers, but "maybe later" was accepted kindly by most (but not quite all). Though I was at the main stage, my eyes were eventually drawn to a side stage, where a well-enhanced, dark-haired dancer was working her way out of a schoolgirl outfit. She saw me watching, beckoned me over, and we went off to the lap dance area when she finished her set. Spent more time (and money) there than I normally would on one dancer, but left quite happy. No extras offered or requested.

Also visited the next afternoon, just killing time so that I didn't drive into Toronto at rush hour. Quality of dancers was a little lower, and quantity much lower. Still had a decent, though not awesome time.

Not sure when I'll be in the area next, but I shall return.
