I visited twice over 4 days...

I visited twice over 4 days in Raleigh, both after midnight. These visits confirm that I am spoiled by the amazing value of Follies closer to home. The Men's Club is set up a lot like the Platinum Plus clubs with a big stage in the middle and a couple of small circular satellite stages and the lap dances take place in a separate couch room, but it has a much more upscale feel. The music (a good variety of rock, pop, and classic rock, and just a little bit of hip hop) was excellent and not so loud. The girls dress in somewhat fancy but revealing gowns. I did not see anyone I would rate below a 7 and there were a lot of 9s. One dancer seemed really into me and sat with me at the table for over an hour (while it was actually pretty busy) before asking for any dance. I got a 2 for 1 from here each night and thought she might come home with me but declined even after I offered the 200 she normally gets from a VIP visit.

The Men's Club is open until 5am on Friday and Saturday but you have to pay a cover charge again after 2am and they quit serving alcohol at 2am. The girls offer table dances with little to no contact for $10/song, lap dances with touching everywhere but the kitty allowed in private booths with a nice couch for $40/song, and VIP rooms for 30 minutes for $300 ($100 to the house). Management closely tracks the money from dances and cover charges. I don't quite understand their cover charge structure but they made me sign something because I apparently got a discount for being out of town. I paid $10 to get in but others in line in front of me paid $14 and $20. Someone watches the entry to the lap dance area and counts the number of songs and then takes $15/song from the dancer on the spot. About once per hour they offer a 2 for 1.

If I were local, I would probably go here a lot to just enjoy the sights, but I will never go out of my way for this place like I do for Follies and PP Columbia sometimes.
