I've just started going back to...

I've just started going back to strip bars after a 20 year absence. I have been going to Solid Gold now for the 3rd time. The place is not that big, but I have been in smaller ones in the past so I would guess that it is of average size. The place doesn't seem to be as flashy as the once advertized in Toronto, but it does seem to have a reasonable decor. The main stage is set in the middle of the main area with a center section and 2 walk out areas, 1 on either side. Each side has a pole for the dancers. Lighting is reasonable so you can see the action on the stage. One of the dancers commented that many of the girls complained that it was to bright as they couldn't hide their flaws. As I have only been on week nights between 7&9pm I can only comment on these times. There doesn't seem to be that many people in the club, the $ 5.00 cover that was posted was never collected.

I guess because the place was quite (only about 8-10 people) the girls didn't seem to be overly interested. The first tie there I was approached by Zita, a very nice girl from Hungary, she has a reasonable face and an ass that wont quite. After a while we went to the VIP area (there seems to be 2-3 areas). I had her dance for me for 3 songs, after which she was still very nice and talkative. Because of this positive experience I went back the next week. Still only 8-10 people there. This time I spent sometime with a girl from England named Britt, she mentioned that this was her last day and that she was going back home before she was to tour the US. After a while talking we headed to the VIP area. She had a very pretty face, but her tits were like 2 rocks, I am not one for fake tits. After 2 songs we stopped, I guess she thought that she deserved more as she just got dressed and left. Not a word or a look. Last night I went back again feeling that the experience with Britt may have been a fluke, as the time before with Zita was great. Again only 8-10 people, the dancers didn't seem to thrilled to be there. No energy for the stage dances, and most of them just sat in the corner talking to each other. Most of the guy there were watching the stage and none of the girls were approaching them. After sitting there for 30 minutes I was approached by a cute young girl named, Jasmine?. She is from Montreal and says she's half Italian & half Greek. We sat and talked for a while and headed for the VIP area after about 20 minutes. We got there just after a song started so she waited for the next one. She didn't start until the next song was half over. After a few more songs I asked to clarify how many songs she had danced 2 or 3 not knowing if she counted the 1/2 song, she replied that it was 5. I questioned it but as she insisted it was 5 I decided not to start an argument. I paid here and left.

I don't think that I'm going to be going back. As I work near Pure Gold and live near Hamilton Strip I think I will try them.
