Ruby's II is my favorite club, in the area, and I'm never disappointed.

The club is divided into two rooms. The first room is one large rectangular bar that can seat 30 people easily; the second room has a large stage with table seating and pool tables. You can look onto the stage from the bar room, and can even go up to it to get good contact with the girls. If you want to sit at the stage, on the other hand, you have to go into the second room. Lap dances are available for $20 a song, and they run about 3 minutes in length. Ruby's used not to cut the songs, but I guess that they've had to change with the times. Dances are not very private, and you usually sit right next to, or right across from someone else. Guess thats okay, but I wouldn't mind some larger dividers.

Ruby's is strictly BYOB, so plan ahead, and stop to pick up some beers, or a bottle of something. You can drive up and down the street, if you really need to find something last minute, but if you don't know the area, that can be a bit of a pain. Because of this, the club is a great value. You have to pay to get back your own beer, but its only a couple of dollars, and well worth it if you consider that there is no cover during the day, and that the dances are still $20, when everyone else is trying to get $25. Ruby's system is a little different than other clubs, though. You need to buy a dance ticket from the bartender ($20), and this covers your first song ( I think that the house keeps this); any additional songs are $20 each, payable to the dancer (I think that they keep that).
