All in all, I had a very good time at the Electric Blue Cafe. Upon arriving, I found the club to be friendly and not seedy. I paid $5.00 cover upon entering. There is a full bar and a snack table near the door. The "stage" is a ground level area surrounded by a low wall. There was plenty of seating along the stage. There was also ample seating at tables around the edges. Sporting events are broadcast on TVs throughout the club. The bathrooms are fairly clean and bright. The club itself is appropriately dimly lit. The music is OK and not too loud. Lap dances are performed in a separate room with stalls containing leather chairs. There is a "Champagne Room," with private rooms. Other customers were non-threatening, average guys. I didn't see any couples, though I wouldn't have been surprised.
There was a variety of dancers at the club. There seemed to be two groups, white girls and latin girls. I was immediately propositioned by an over-the-hill latin lady who looked desperate to please. Though I refused, she returned often. There were a few decent looking latin chicks, and a few were not desirable. The white girls ranged from decent to attractive. The stage dancers gave ample attention to guys who tipped them. They are pleasing, not afraid to touch and be touched. (I was able to grab and kiss tits, was groped through my pants, and brushed lips with a dancer.)
I had several lap dances. The latin ladies gave the best dances. They did not rush, and heavily grabbed me through my pants. They were not shy about being touched and kissed. The white girls seemed to use lap dances as sales pitches to get you into the "champagne room." They did not focus on the dance, and cut it off early. I was quoted $300-$400 for half an hour in the champagne room. Though I did not take up the offer, it is clear that anything goes in the champagne room.
