I had been to Oasis before...

I had been to Oasis before and looked forward to visiting on another trip back to Philly. The recent reviews here had me concerned that it would not be as good as my prior visit.

I went in late March, so this review is a little dated. Christies had just closed a couple of days before, so it was probably a little busy for a Tuesday. Club was exactly the same as I remember it from my previous visit. Big rectangular bar takes up most of the floor space, with two stages in the middle. Dancers dance on stage, then walk around the bar asking for $1 tips. I don't remember beer prices, but they weren't unreasonable. Dancers were for the most part young and attractive. There were a few older girls, but none I would consider shouldn't be dancing.

Got several lap dances in the back room for $20 a piece. There are now signs up warning against illegal activity, and the lights seemed to be a little brighter. Lap dances were maybe slightly more tame than my vist a little over a year ago, but only slightly.
