I went to Gallagher’s on a Saturday evening with my wife. We arrived before 8pm so there was no cover. You have to go through a metal detector at the door and there is a security guard standing there as well. Once you pass inspection, you walk through the main door and there is a bar with a stage behind it on the left and an additional stage off to the right. There are chairs and tables facing the extra stage. Two respectable mixed drinks at the bar were $20 and the cute blonde bartender was friendly. While we were there the girls only danced behind the bar as the side stage was not open. At first, there was nobody on the stage, but within ten minutes or so dancers started coming out. The bar was about half full so it must have been the change of shift. There were 3-4 girls dancing at one time depending on how quickly they came and went. It didn’t seem like there was a specific number of songs for them to dance to as some came and went while others stayed on the stage. Because the stage was behind the bar you could not tip the dancers during their set but they would walk around the bar collecting tips after they were done. The place had a regular “corner bar” feel to it and if it wasn’t for the topless dancers on the stage you could be in any neighborhood bar. The dancers were average looking IMHO and none really interested us. Lap dances are done upstairs in a smaller area overlooking the main bar. We were there long enough to see dancers return to stage and we were disappointed not to find anyone that we wanted to get dances from so I can’t comment on the quality of the lap dances. Overall it was a less expensive night out than we are used to but it didn’t have the atmosphere we were looking for.
