I visited Tampa in early May...
I visited Tampa in early May 2012 and took in some of the sights nearby, including Scores. I arrived around 8:30pm because I had read about the happy hour, and I was very pleased to enjoy some 2 for 1 priced brews. Anywhere that serves up a Corona for $3 has got to be worth a look in.
Chuck the Manager was very friendly, and I soon had pleasant company at the bar in the form of Skye, who was a dancer from out of town and had been working at Scores a few months. We chatted and enjoyed a few drinks before she took to the stage and I tipped her and her workmates for their trouble.
The dancers are on stage for 3 songs and shed their dress after 1 song, then their top after the second song. It's a pastie venue as you probably already read, and that looks a little strange, but is fine if you're taking in the full body picture. The dancers I saw ranged from 5 through to 8 - nothing outstanding, but great for some warm-up drinks before you head to the nearby juice bars. By about 10pm I had enjoyed my time at Scores and decided to move on. I never got around to trying the kitchen, but I was told by several people that it was worth the effort...even the dancers were eating in.
