Godfather's in Louisville has received an update. Things on face value, look good. It was refreshing to check it out after being away for so long and I figured I would bring a fresh review of the place. Here we go, I'm going to implement the ARM system for this review as well. A is for atmosphere, R is for reservations, and M is for mileage. Without further ado.

A - The atmosphere is decent. On a Tuesday night I counted about 12-13 girls... a far cry from what 11-25 would hope to make you believe. A great number of 6 and 7s walking around, a pair of 5s, and one 8 on this evening... the quality has improved in my opinion. I recall the drink hustle being pretty bad the first time I visited, this time it was less so. The waitress doesn't hover much and it took a decent amount of time for me to be served, I was in no rush. The lay out is simple: Bathrooms off to the side next to the bar, private dance area in the back, main stage in the large space, and there is a smoking patio that I haven't checked out. Clientele varies so you'll feel comfortable whoever you are. Some dancers were charismatic, others not so much.

R - I had a few reservations for the place. While the waitress was not as relentless before, the service was off and irking. The new website suggests a $2 beer special on Tuesdays, I was charged double, plus asked for a tip. Nonetheless, a cool drink and I was left alone the rest of the night. The stage doubles as an entrance into the dancer dressing area. This means when a girl is on stage, anyone entering or leaving that dressing area comes into view of the main stage dance. Kind of a distraction, but no big deal. The biggest reservation is dancer apathy. There was no asking for dances whatsoever. I don't know if it was because of the 2-4-1 special for the evening, but there were no apparent regulars either. The smoking patio/lounge takes away from the action in the main room. I spent two hours and was only asked twice for a dance, by the same girl.
