I don't get to Raleigh that...

I don't get to Raleigh that much, and usually will go to Teaser's in Durham when I am in the area, but decided to check out CCGC as it was sort of on my route through. The club is a little hard to find if you don't have GPS. It is a t the end of a road near RDU airport that has commercial offsite parking and some support buildings for air freigh companies, etc. It's more visible from 540 than US 70, the later road being the actual cross-street for Mt. Hermon.

The offer valet parking, but on the night I was there about half the lot was self-parking. The cover was 10 dollars. I was not wanded, but did have to show ID.

The main room is much smaller than you would expect given the size of the building. I arrived about 11 PM on a Wednesday and the place was pretty full. I could ot find a table (there are about 25 or so) and as no one was sitting at the stage, I instead perched on one of the bar stools that line the wall. Not seeing any waitresses, only a "shooter girl", I went to the bar for a beer ($5) and returned to my perch (a waitress did finally come by after a few more minutes).
