I have been to several clubs in Charlotte and Uptown cabaret is probably the best in town. It is is a safe location, clientele is upscale, ample parking and the crowd is diverse. They have expanded their seating area but did not increase their rates. However, it is still hard to find a place to sit as it gets very crowded during weekends, when I usually frequent the place.

As soon as you park, you have to go through a quick pat down before you enter large wooden doors. You can tell from outside that place is quite posh. The Men's Club is probably the most posh club and Uptown cabaret is a close second. You then have the cover fee at the reception and enter the club. They have a nice bathroom with all the necessary toiletries if you need to freshen up. Don't forget to tip the bathroom attendant! You have to pass through the bar area and down a couple of steps to enter the dance area. They have a two large stages i.e main stage and one in middle of seating area. They also have a few small stages to accommodate one dancer at a time. The upstairs is mostly for private dances and VIP rooms. Bottle service is available for champagne.

Dancers are amazing looking! They always have several new dancers on most weekends along with the familiar faces. The dances on the floor go for $20 or you can go upstairs for $30. The best part is the catwalk of dancers every 2hrs or or so when you get to have 3 dances with dancer of your choice for price of 2. I had experiences where dancers cut their rates even lower if they are having a slow night.
