used to enjoy visits to Good Guys. Now, however, not so much. In fact, I probably will not be returning for a very long time. But more on that later. First, the closest parking is in a lot behind the club, which charges $7 (if I recall), but you get a $2 off a drink if you show your waitress the ticket. There is no cover, but they make up for it by marking up their drink prices (bottled water: $7.50, domestic beers: $7.50-$7.75). There is also an implied 1 drink/hr ‘rule’ one of the waitresses mentioned to me, but if you take care of your server, she’ll probably let it slide for as long as possible.

Also, it is like the majority of DC clubs which do not allow private dances of any kind. Thus, all of the action takes place on the 3 stages equally spread out along the narrow floor, and to a lesser extent, after each dancer's set when they make their rounds to solicit tips. The dancers themselves are mixed well by ethnicity and body type, ranging from average to centerfold material. On any given night, there should be plenty of dancers available to cater to all of the clientele's preferences. Unfortunately though, their attitudes can vary greatly as well. Some are genuinely sweet and friendly, while others are standoffish and are either only interested in your tips, or ignore you completely, no matter if you came up to them onstage or not.

Now, my biggest pet peeve concerning this club, and the majority of clubs in general, is that the dancers tend to socialize and hang around certain regulars or ‘high-rollers’ who lavish them with drinks all night. Of course I understand that they’re there to make money by selling drinks, since in this case lap dances are prohibited. But still, it’s quite frustrating to spend an evening watching a table of two regulars monopolize at least 5 of the dancers, rotating continuously throughout the entire night. When they’re not making their rounds, they just ignore the rest of the club, which seems incredibly rude and inconsiderate. In short, I miss the times I had here, and wish they could go back to how it was before. Until then, I’ll have to go to other establishments.
