I suppose Playes is your standard strip club, though we found the whole club's lighting to be a bit brighter than others. The dancers are generally aesthetically pleasing and rhythmically inclined. The music can range from hip-hop to rock, depending on the dancer. They also have a room for private dances.

I came here with a group of 6 for a friend's birthday, and most of us sat in the front row, right in front of the stage. We came at night on a weekend in March and walked up the stairs to show our IDs, check our coats, and enter the club. The club has a "one drink" policy, where every one must buy a drink, but it doesn't need to be alcoholic. We didn't stay long, but we had a lot of fun and it was a great night. They also offer lunch and dinner buffets during weekdays for those of you that are interested in dinner and a show ;)

I wwould definitely recommend this place as a fun night out on the weekends or even as a casual place to get a drink on the week days, but one thing for sure is the whole new set up with the renovations makes the place stand out from the rest.
