Recently I was in the PA area visiting family and had some time on a Saturday night to check out a local club,I was thinking of going to Partners in Erie when I came upon the reviews for Kandys in Waterford which was a bit more convenient for me. The club itself is pretty new construction from all appearances and while not of a high end nature, looks good and is well suited to what it is being used for. When I got there around 10:30-11:00PM the place was moderately busy with a lot of people seated around the bar area and others just randomly standing and watching the action in the place. Upon arrival you pay a $15 cover charge, get a name tag and as a noob to the club I was to receive a tour, this is a BYOB club so all that is available for purchase are soft drinks although you can bring in beer etc and they will keep it behind the bar and dole it out to you over the night if you wish. One difference from most clubs is that you have to pre-select a girl and prepay for any dances that you may want... I didn't like that approach which I will discuss later. I sat at a table around the stage and several of the girls(which for the most part are in the 7-8 range) came by exhibited a brief flash and then held their hand out. I am an older guy which seemed to get me the shortest of flashes and contact with the stage dancers. About this time a girl came by and noted that I needed the tour and proceeded to tour the place with me showing me the areas where the VIPs, lap dances, and shower dances occur. The VIP areas are pretty private and well furnished for a strip club. The lap dance areas are in one room laid out in such a way that you can't see from one to the other so pretty private as well. My tour guide pushed the VIP dances herself saying that she did not do lap dances, by the way she was friendly, had a nice shape and was probably a bit older than the mostly early 20s dancers and she flashed me when she danced on stage after the tour ended. I ended up opting for a 3 lap dance for $40 deal they had thinking that I might do one or two more of those deals and chose a girl named April which was a mistake and I should have known better than to choose her. When she was on stage she came on in a dress with no panties and her pussy was visible most of the time, she came by briefly and flashed me but there were three girls sitting at the stage and April spent most of her time with them doing more than just flashing them...one of the three girl customers went topless when April danced for her. Back to the prepayment issue, maybe because of my age or whatever when the girls were done dancing they did not try to stop by and try to hustle a dance or whatever so you could not make any connection, so I went ahead and booked a $40 dollar lap dance deal with April( which I should not have done due to her obvious preference for girls). April found me and led me back to the dance area totally nude but when she got there, on went the g-string and she proceeded to give me an air dance with no contact whatever, after the second dance I was ready to be done because I like to have contact with the girls and maybe if I was a girl I might have been able to...my mistake for choosing her. I don't like the prepayment process because there is little to no chance of getting into any dialogue with the girls...maybe because I am an old fart or maybe because it was fairly busy or whatever...after the air dance I just decided to leave.

Its funny though I have read reviews where the young guys complain that the girls spend time only with the old guys because they generally have more money to blow on the girls and I find it to be that many of the girls like to hang with the young guys because its their boyfriend or a hoped for boyfriend. The smart dancers I have found try to befriend the customer to develop a "relationship" so that they can hustle him for the most money regardless of customer age etc. Many of the girls today at clubs either, hang at the bar, shoot pool,cluster in groups etc. everything but try to hustle a dance.

As to Kandy's, I don't think that I will return as it was a pretty frustrating experience.
