Made the trek from the north...

Made the trek from the north suburbs of Chicago last week, since (i) driving all the way to Chicago is a waste of time in general and (ii) I have enjoyed OTB on many numerous occasions. This past visit was no exception (except in one regard). As usual, there's the tip parade, which I actually do not mind - I get a surprising amount of goodwill from treating the ladies like ladies as they parade by, and a $1 or $2 is a small price to pay for that. The bar is good and priced right. And, while the 3 dances for $90 seems a bit high, the mileage is so much higher than anything I could ever find in Chicago (without driving far to the south of Chicago). I had three sets of dances with three energetic, flirty women last Thursday (names I do not recall), and each of them treated me very nicely (including the final, who had no trouble adjusting my friend in my pants and leaving me quite happy). The only exception was the fourth set of dances I had - very muscular, buff chick (from somewhere in the eastern block), which I usually like, but she was more rough than I could take, and she kept hitting me up for dances as the night went on (since it seems I was the only person who took her up on any offer that night), so it was too stalker like for me. Still, all in all, worth the 45 minute drive.
