I stopped by the Landing Strip...

I stopped by the Landing Strip on a Friday afternoon. I passed on the valet parking option because the streets around the club are safe and had ample curbside parking. Others have accurately described the interior of the club so I won't repeat those details. No entry fee in the afternoon. I purchased an overpriced beer (7.75), actually standard fare for most strip clubs. The selection of dancers was pretty good, about half white and half black but many of the dancers were a bit on the thick side for my taste. Two dancers on stage at a time, with a two song set at each end of the stage before the dancer rotated off and into the relatively sparse crowd. The dancer's were pretty frisky with each other on stage, especially when three dancers from the audience, hopped up on stage with one of the dancers and simulated a little girl on girl action.

I invited one well-endowed black dancer for a $25 VIP dance-- her lap dance skills were good but she was not open to fun above and beyond a lap dance so I said thanks and stopped after one song. Chatted up a couple of attractive blondes. I asked the first one if she provided more than a dance in the VIP-- she said no and went and sat at the bar, hoping for other customers. The other blonde was clearly open to negotiations but she was booked for a while--funny how that works, the dancers that offer exceptional service are busy while the others sit around talking to each other and hoping for a customer. She offered her phone number but I generally prefer the safety of a club over a visit to an apartment or hotel. Having used up most of my allotted time, I was about to leave the club when a spinner took the stage-- not much up top but a very nice ass. She was not a graceful dancer and I was about to write off the afternoon but I like spinners and besides, I decided that if she can make a living at a strip club with those dancing skills (think non-existent dance skills) then she must have some other talents. I invited her for a VIP and discovered that what she lacked in dance coordination was more than compensated for with oral dexterity and for a reasonable price.

In summary-- pretty decent, but variable talent. Unlike some of the Detroit clubs where every one of the dancers go above and beyond to keep their customers happy, this club requires some scouting to identify those dancers who provide outstanding private dances, but that's part of the fun.
