I had a overnight stay in Des Moines and thought I would check out Beach Girls. It's a much better club than I remember. It's been years since I had gone to this club. First, the place is down a dark gravel road. This might one of the main reasons I don't go to this club. It just doesn't seem safe in the middle of nowhere. But, far from the truth. The parking lot is well lit and no security issues that I could notice.

The club is laid out different than many. There are two connected stages - sort of a dog bone shape with a ton of poles. This night was slow and dancers would use the whole stage for three songs. I just depended where people were sitting. Many customers sat at the rail, but many sat in a private back bench or in other chairs. Furniture was comfortable.

The first girl to approach was an older blonde with huge fake boobs. She sat close and kept rubbing them back and forth against my arm. She was really jittery and I didn't want to connect with her. She eventually moved on awkwardly as she approached.
