Well my buddies and I were...

Well my buddies and I were headed to the NASCAR race and planned to stop and have lunch and a drink at Buck's on the way. We expected to spend 2 or 3 hours and chill before we hit the track for the nighttime race. While I am pretty sure most guys do not care much about the food in their favorite club I will say the steak lunch was good enough to at least meet my expectations.

That being said the rest of the scene was very disappointing. This is the first time I have been to Buck's and felt that the talent level was definitely below par. Surprising to me. Fortunately a dancer friend, D****E, who I met in another club some time ago has moved to Buck's. She apparently recognized me from across the room and came over to sit for a while. She actually made my visit very enjoyable but my buddies could not wait to finish lunch and get out of there. She and I retired to the perimeter seating area, not VIP, and she proceeded to give me some very personal attention. Nice, just as I had remembered. Unfortunately there was not much else that was noteworthy.

I am not saying the experience was terrible, just disappointing for what I had expected. Perhaps it was just one of those days. I will probably be back at another time next time.
