We were very disappointed with our first visit to the Golden Nugget. We made the effort to dress up (most of the patrons were in shorts and t-shirts) and had a pocket full of bills to spend. They charged $10 for each of us to get in which is unusual since ladies are usually free. From the cashier to the bouncer to the bar tender, our service was lack luster if not surley. We arrived after 10 p.m. and the place was busy but not crowded. The facility is nice enough and pretty much as already described in previous reviews. We chose to sit close to one stage but where we could see the smaller one. Despite tipping several girls generously, we were never approached for a private dance nor shown any attention when tipping. Several tables of college aged boys seemed to be getting most of the attention. We did not see any dancers with any special sparkle or impressive moves. In fact, several of them didn't seem to know what to do at all and just stood there and swayed from side to side until the second song when they would take off their top and do the same thing. I never expect to go to a strip club and actually find myself bored and yawning!! We plan to make PCB an annual trip but Golden Nugget will not be on the itinerary!
