A so-so visit to Devil's Den
I just happened to be passing through so I stopped in. Granted I went on a Monday at about 9pm, so I didn't expect it to be very crowded. There were several cars in the lot so I thought maybe it will be OK. I'd not been in this place since it was The Cabin. Overall, I'd say the 6 dancers average a strong 6 with 2 of them being a 7.
When I got in, I realized I was the ONLY customer there, 1st warning sign. After using the facilities, I sat at a table a bit back from the stage. A bottle blonde named Heaven was first up. I'm not good at judging age, but I'm guessing she was 30+. Nice looking small boobs danced well enough for 2 songs. Lost her top on the first, flashed her kitty quite a bit on the second. (All 6 dancers did 2 songs apiece.) I was a bit surprised that she didn't come over for a tip but that was fine with me.
Next up was a brunette girl (I forget her name), her dances were much the same, nice but not hugely impressive. About this time another customer came in with one of the dancers (I think) so at least I didn't feel so "alone." At this point a dancer named Star was sitting at my table chatting.
3rd dancer up was a big busted one who's name was Mae (I think) Danced well enough same thing, 2 songs, boobs out, kitty flashed. She did come around for a tip so I tucked $1 in her g-string which she found insulting and put the bill back on the table telling me to keep it. I talked to Star about it, mentioning that I'd not been in a strip club for a few years. (Back then a $1 tip was accepted with no issue, I should have allowed for inflation - my bad.) Star nicely told me that $3 - $5 was typical and that $1 was a bit insulting. Had the dancer said something nicely along those lines, I would have increased my tip.
Another dancer, similar routine to the first 3, then it was Star's turn. She danced well, and got a nice tip when she came by afterwards.
The last dancer in the rotation varied a little from the others in that she didn't just flash the kitty she got completely nude.
During my 90 minutes or so there, 3 of the dancers chatted nicely with me, with one, Star, spending the most time. I was offered private dances by all of them but I responded "maybe later" to all of them and they didn't push it, which I appreciated. After the rotation of dancers was part way through the 2nd go around. I had to leave, maybe if I could have stayed longer it would have gotten better.
Cover charge was $10. The place itself was not much to look at, in fact I remember it being nicer when it was the cabin. Not sure where any private dances would have taken place. A sign on the wall said 1 song $20, 2 songs $30, 4 songs $40 (not sure on this last one) Also 30 minutes (i think) was $80
