Divas XO is the latest incarnation...

Divas XO is the latest incarnation of Baby Dolls. There have been a number of upgrades and improvements to the physical plant in the last couple years. Basically upon entering the club you find a room which has two poles in the middle. The dance areas are surrounded by a bar, in a horseshoe shape. The bar tenders work between the dancers and the bar. There is no alternate seating in the club and when crowded it can be tough to find a seat, especially if you have a group together. There has been quite a bit of turn over in the staff and bartenders in the last 6 months that I have been frequenting this place. We typically spend quite a bit more than the average customer there, thus we have been given great personalized treatment by the members of management and staff who have stayed with the property during the last 6 months. They do have a VIP room which can be rented for parties. It is actually a really good value for a party of 15 or so, and we had our company Christmas party there this year and were treated like kings. The buffet for the party was very reasonable and the food quality was surprisingly good. Having said that, the food staff has had turn over as well and I am not sure if they are even serving food any longer. Buffet during the VIP party was nice, but out on the main floor I am not really interested in eating in front of a bunch of people . . . in a strip club. Ya.

There is greater variance in the girls than the staff. While the industry as a whole has a fair amount of turn over among the dancers, Divas XO seems to really turn them over. It seems to be a stopping place for dancers as they leave Al's and are moving down to Buck Rubs or other grind joints. In the 6 months we have been visiting they have attracted a wide variety of ladies. It would be kind to say that most of the girls are average. A number of the girls do have somewhat engaging personalities and will "befriend" you. Unfortunately that often comes at a price, as you begin to hear too much about their personal lives (which are always problematic), the clubs short comings, "i haven't even meet my quota tonight". I wish I didn't even know what that was but unfortunately having spent many hours on the stools there, I am quite familiar. In my opinion if you are in the Reading area, Als is going to give you a much better bang for your buck. Als provides a full nude experience, a better physical plant, a better overall set up in that you are closer to the dancers and tip them directly while they are on stage. Private dances are more aggressive at Als and are actually less expensive. Champaign courts are a much better deal at Als as well, given the quality of the girls, the private rooms versus an open room with couches and general conditions.
