I was in the upstate area...

I was in the upstate area on business and decided to stop in to Pleasure Island for a brief visit. No dancers of interest, so I then drove over to Sunset Strip. What a pleasant surprise!

I had visited 3-4 times before the recent fire and found the club to be more than a bit tired, in dire need of some "freshening-up." The club seemed to be a bit "hit-or-miss" in terms of dancer quality as well. The occasional 8, a rare 9, mostly 5-7's.

The "new" Sunset has been completely renovated inside. A small center stage greets you as you enter. There's an area with couches over to the right, with some privacy due to a low wall. The couch area is slightly raised, affording a view of the stage. A nice spot for some "preview" dances while you decide whether to head for one of the private rooms.
