As many years as this place...

As many years as this place has been around, I can't believe it has never been reviewed. I was in the area on business 5 and 6 Feb and took the opportunity to visit JB’s, an old haunt from years back and Lappers and Maddogs in Portsmouth (separate reviews to be submitted). JB’s is one of those old school strip clubs where you can watch some very pretty women take it down to thongs and pasties from a fairly close vantage point. I was glad to see JB’s hasn’t changed over the years, except for the pot-hole filled parking lot. $3.75 for a domestic beer. The front room has a long runway style stage with up-close seating around it, tables farther out, several pool tables and a bar you can sit at. The back room was open Wed and Thurs night. It has it’s own bar with seating, tables, 3 pool tables, and 3 small square stages – one of which has a pole – and seats around those stages. I got there too late for the Wed PM Wet T contest from 4-6 which was always a blast. Don’t know about now, but your dollar tip used to get you a squirt bottle which you would use to wet down the dancer as she sprawled in front of you on the stage. I doubt it has changed. Anyway, Wed night was fairly dead crowd wise, probably 20-25 guys in the place, many playing pool. But they kept both rooms open and all stages open. The girls ranged from average to very hot and most are young. Of course, this being VA and an alcoholic club, there are no private dances, touching or nudity. But the beer is cold, the place is friendly, the girls can be hot and the music is great, mostly rock is played. Paid a $3 cover at about 9:30. Went back on Thurs night, arriving about 10 pm. The women were even hotter and a better crowd. A couple of the same hotties from the previous night plus a couple more. Alex has a body and a stage show you do not want to miss. With all stages open, there are usually empty seats at the stages, so you can get what equates to a private stage show if you sit at a stage and put a dollar or two on the stage which will bring the dancer over to your stage spot for some highly erotic rolling around. No pressure for tips though it is expected at the stage seating. The dancers do not roam for tips after their sets. And if you like to play pool, JB’s is the type of place where a dancer will prop her thong covered ass on top of the corner pocket while you are trying to make a shot in that pocket. A fun place. I won’t penalize the club for the strict VA laws. A few more hotties and it would be a 10 for this style of club. Oh yeah, watch out for the cops when you leave.
