I was pleasantly suprised by the contact at the club, based upon previous reviews. We sat next to the dance couch at the back of the club, so saw a lot of dances outside of our own. The dancers were pretty friendly and laid back for NYC. This is not a club where dancers will sit down and chat in order to lure you to a dance though, although some of them would banter a bit while standing. Damcers seemed to be a mix of born-in-the-USA and Eastern Europeans. Drinks were expensive, but about the same percentage surcharge above street prices as in other cities. Probably best bet if you want to drink a fair amount would be to go to the Fridays next door first.
