The Landing Strip is a pretty typical Portland dive bar with strippers. Walk in and the pool tables are to your left, the punching bag machine is straight ahead, the bar's to your right and the two stages are way down at the far right end of the building. Only one of the stages has a pole.

My well drink was $4.50. I think that's a happy hour price, and the drink was surprisingly stiff. I didn't see any evidence of a waitress while I was there on a Wednesday evening.

Six to eight dancers were rotating through the stage that night. One was black and the rest were white. None were surgically enhanced. Most of them had a bit (or more than a bit) of a gut. Several had pretty faces, though one had a face so masculine I wondered if she was a post-op tranny. Several were friendly and seemed like they'd be cool to hang out with. Very little contact was available at the rail. The girls picked their own music from a juke box, mostly rock, pop and R&B.
