Showed up to KOD on a Thursday night, turned out a 2Chainz (some rapper) concert was happening. So it was $50 to get in, but someone was selling tickets for $40. It wasn't a normal night if you're going as a strip club patron, but if you ever wanted to be in a music video it was the perfect night. I was with a group of 4 for a small mini-bachelor party, and 3 of us had never been, so we went in to say that we've been. Lil Wayne, John Lucas, Beanie Siegel and a bunch of other celebrities were in there making it rain on the finest ladies Miami had to offer, in addition to some other gentlemen who I had never seen before and may be in "the game". Lil Wayne definitely had a lot of money to throw. As a matter of fact, the prior reviews about needing to have your money up before you think you're going to step in KOD are absolutely true. I've seen various methods of collecting dollars for ladies after they finish their stage sets, but KOD has staff valets with brooms and rakes and huge buckets to collects ones in. That was something I noticed, I've never seen woman walking around with buckets that huge to hold their ones. Let's talk about the ladies. King of Diamonds has a reputation in the hip-hop community for having the baddest chicks with the best bodies. Having seen it with my own eyes, this is a well deserved reputation. Definitely some of the most beautiful women I've ever seen and several 10's and 9's. I can't say how many were only there because of the concert and might normally work somewhere else at night but it was definitely a sight to see. Black (and a couple Latina) women of all the shades, shapes and sizes you might like were there. Since there were "Ballers" in the building, we and most of the regular guys weren't getting any strip club type attention. I can't even tell if anyone else was there to try and get dances because I saw a lot of stage tipping, some crazy pole moves (one dancer went up all 20 or 25 feet or however high the pole is, hung upside down and then dropped until her head was no more than 2 feet off the ground. The entire crowd gasped. Money flew towards her.) Eventually, in some of the corners there were some girls dancing with some standing lappers, but even they were getting 100, 200 or 300 tipped onto them. Finally a dancer, a 9, walked straight up to me when I was sitting at the bar and asked if I wanted a dance. I sent her to the groom because she was his type. She did one dance, there was some confusion on the price ($10 but she ended up with about $30) but I don't think it mattered. She did her thing but he was ready to go so we left and hit The Office down the street. After having a great time at Coco's day shift earlier the same day, the best thing we could say about our KOD trip was that we saw how it goes down on a big night.
