I regularly visited this club in the early 90's when I was stationed nearby on Security Hill with the Air Force. It was nothing fancy then, but I got to know the people who owned and ran it, so it was more of a social call, reasonably priced place to drink a beer and shoot pool. Of course the talent varied over the years from some gorgeous women to pedestrian. I'm guessing that they still have the same jukebox and that the dancers ask patrons for tips to feed it. If I get back to San Antonio, I will certainly stop by for nostalgia reasons. Fred Sr opened the club sometime after his service in the Army during WWII which included a stint on Guadalcanal. His son, Fred jr was working there as a bartender after serving as a Corpsman in the US Navy.
