Making my commute to Boston and stopped by The Gold Club. My impression is this is a local hangout. There are some very attractive dancers (7-8+) but difficult to get their attention as they are looking out for their regulars. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but if you are a new guy it can be a bit frustrating.

Like most strip clubs in Hartford proper, the drink prices are reasonable. I've paid more for beers in other states so as long as I am under $5 i'm ok with it. The bartenders at this club - well let's just say I wish they were dancers as well.

The lapdance area is not too bad, just a section with private booths. A bit too much intervention by the bouncer. I was warned about my 'hands'. There is a VIP Private section but the $300 didn;t seem worth it. The dancer didnt seem to mind but when the bounce gave his warning suddenly her tune changed - suddenly trying to sell the upcharge to the VIP booth. I didn't bother.
