I visit the Rest A Bit...

I visit the Rest A Bit about once or twice a month. It truly is a local go go bar. The bar area is not really that big, maybe 12 stools that surround the small stage and then another 6-8 that do not have a clear view of the stage.

Dancer quality varies here but usually is not that good. This seems to be the place where dancers go before they retire. So most often the dancers are older - mid to late 30's - 40+. However, there usually are a couple of younger (mid - late 20's or early 30's) dancers there too. And once in awhile there may even be an 8 or a 9, but not that often. For todays visit there were 8 dancers and none better than a 6 and some 3's or 4's. Some were on the large size and would surprise some that they were actually dancers.

Stage management sometimes lacks here. Even though there were only a few customers at the bar, there were 4 dancers behind the bar looking for tips. In a place like this it should be at most one on stage and one getting tips. Money can go very quickly when this happens. All of the dancers and bartenders are always friendly.
