And now for something completely different! I wanted to try a different place in town. I had heard good and bad things about the Harem and figured I would see for myself. I have been going to clubs around the Dayton area for 30 years. I have been to clubs in about 10 different states. The only comparison I could make (just judging the dancers here) would be with some of the hole-in-the-wall clubs from the Dayton area back in the early to mid 1980's. Thanks but no thanks!

The Club. Based in North Dayton, it isn't the best area of town. But honestly, I felt relatively safe in the parking lot and in the club. I believe I saw one security person when I was leaving, and that helped with my assessment. You walk in the front door with the NO SMOKING sign. Pay $5 entry. Bouncer was friendly promising fun with naked women and booze. So far so good. Entering the club, there is a small bar to get your first drink without waiting for a waitress. $3.75 for a Bud Light. Found a table off to the side so I could get the lay of the land. The place actually looked pretty busy. I only saw the right side of the club, near the main bar. Most seats were taken. It did appear a little smokey, but not as bad as I thought it wold be from previous reviews. Chairs were on wheels and were comfortable enough. One main stage in the center of the club with 2 satellite stages on either side. I never got a chance to check out the restrooms.

The Dancers. I primarily visit Cheeks and if Cheeks' dancers are a 7/8, Harem's are a 2. I couldn't believe how bad they ALL were. Almost every girl was out of shape. Not exactly the visual fantasy that I like. The one girl that I saw who was in shape, had no boobs and was quite homely looking. I am not a "10" myself, but I don't dance in a club. Dancers hovered around constantly asking for dances. Most all were offering 2 for 1's, which apparently runs $25. But I didn't sample any. No way no how. Maybe they made up for quality dances in lieu of their looks, but I wasn't going to try. I only saw a couple dancers without their tops on. Almost all kept the tops on while they were on stage. I couldn't tell if there were any pasties on or not. I wasn't going to spend money to find out! There wasn't one I would spend a dollar on. One girl did try to get me to buy her a shot, and I just wasn't going to waste my money on someone I had zero interest in. It is my money and I will spend it how I see fit. She wasn't happy with me!
