Follies is the place to go...

Follies is the place to go in Atlanta, unfortunately everyone else knows this too. It normally fills up by early evening and stays SRO throughout the night. I arrived at 3PM, 99% of the parking lot is valet reserved. You can park in the lots of surrounding businesses, but I have had my truck broken into when staying until 2AM and parking in the lot across the street. No cover charge when arriving this early, mandatory ID checks (just a quick look of some card) with a pat down. Even at 3PM all of the table seats were already filled. I was able to find a seat at the bar after about 30 mins. They always have a large number of dancers on each shift with two or three (depending on how large the crowd is) on each of the two stages at all times, running the three song set scenario. The dancers start stripping down to full nudity as they are tipped. Some give you a good spread show when being tipped, some put on a combined show depending on the mood. I've seen management step in to cool it off, tone it down....just a bit. With this many dancers on a shift, they normally have one of nearly every type working at all times. Lap dances (full nudity) are $10, performed at all locations; sitting at a table, sitting at the bar or standing along the wall. The more out in the open you are, some dancers tone it down a bit; but if they are having fun with you, just about anything can happen. VIP rooms are $142 for 30 mins. The dancer gets $100. The club gets $42 for providing the spot and pulling the dancer from the rotation. Two rooms are completely private, with one love seat. The larger room has five love seats in it. Some dancers start at a much higher figure, then come down if you pass on the offer. In my several visits to the club and the VIP room; I've only had two VIP dances which were not worth the cost. Lots of two way contact, most have the rule of anything goes, as long as you treat her like a lady. Unfortunately, I had the worst VIP dance of all time on this last trip. I would not suggest getting a dance from "Chance". You are always taking a chance when you pay for a VIP but I wouldn't take a chance with Chance. She started out a $242, then dropped to $200, then eventually to $162. I gave her the money for the room, then paid her when we went into the room. She removed her top only, but didn't allow any contact with her very undersized breasts. She stopped dancing five times, asking me to pay her. When I advised her I already did, she counted her money each time then agreed I had. She stopped at least another 10 times wanted me to get $50 in $1 bills to drop on her; she insisted it would be a lot of fun. It was the longest 30 mins I ever spent in a club. I guess I've been really lucky on most visits to Follies and I met dancers who were celebrating their birthdays on the last two; they were extra fun. All in all Follies is a great place to visit. The only downsides to the club is the mandatory valet parking and building size. It really isn't a small club, just too small for its popularity.
