Made my first visit to Alex's in 2012 last Saturday night. There had been rumors that the dance price was raised from $20 to $25, but they were still $20 when I was there. The seating has been improved, especially at the bar. A champagne room was created where the DJ used to be, and it is the biggest and most private CR Alex's has ever had. I decided to give it a test drive and it was good. However, it was very hot in there and I left with brutal body odor. As for the girls, the legendary Geovanna was there and is still amazing, even though she's probably in her mid to late 30s. Other than that, the dancer crew was rough and I had little interest. The talent at Alexs has taken a sad plunge since the Brazilian golden era of the mid 2000s. They might also be having a tough time attracting high quality talent with the more upscale Foxy Lady being five minutes away, especially with white girls. While Alexs is pricey and has some faults, the low quality dancers are the main problem, if that can improve this could be a really good club again.
