On an emergency business trip to...
On an emergency business trip to Orlando recently, I had a couple of hours to kill, and, in the words of Jeff Foxworthy, "wanted to see something nekkid." I walked over to a cluster of three different clubs that was close to my hotel and decided to check one out. One was closed, leaving two that were right across the road from each other. One was shinier with a full parking lot, and the other was a little bit shabbier and less full. I went with the second figuring I'd get more attention since it was less packed.
Turns out I was right. The club was dark, but well-maintained, with a standard stage surrounded by the usual chairs and benches around the wall. There were a LOT of dancers. I think there was easily a 1:1 ratio of dancers to customers. As soon as I walked in the door I was approached by a dancer for a cover charge of five bucks, which I paid, even though I thought it was weird that a dancer was collecting the cover instead of the bouncer. Maybe she was the manager, or maybe I just got had, being an out-of-towner. The bartender was cute, quick, and friendly. Nobody hassled me about the bottle of water I had with me (it's important to stay hydrated when you're walking to a strip club in Orlando on a hot day.)
The dancers were a mixed bag. There were a couple of younger knock-outs, some older dancers, and one girl who had some amazing naturals. All of them were friendly, with a very accommodating attitude to accepting tips in their garters. The worst dancer was a pretty girl who just walked up and down the stage, only giving one guy (a regular, I guess) any attention. The best was a hot young thing that gave me a very nice rail experience.
