I paid a visit to the Hugger about 3 weeks ago. For some hard-to-explain reason, the vibe was different this time. The afternoon crowd consisted of mostly older men (myself included) and the majority of the dancers were seated at tables with their "regulars." I go to the Hugger at least once a month, so I'm more or less a regular, but I've never been able to figure out how this works exactly. I'm assuming the guys are willing to pay the girl to sit with them for hours at a time, which is fine as it goes. It's their money and they can spend it as they please. But it's like running a restaurant where the waitress takes your order, brings the food and then sits down at the table to talk with you while you eat your dinner. Meanwhile the other patrons sit at their tables waiting for the "regular" to eat his dessert, leave a big tip, belch and leave. This creates a different atmosphere as compared to when the dancers are circulating through the bar, collecting tips, giving dollar dances and entertaining the customers. If I was managing this place, I'd have the dancers off their ass and circulating around the club entertaining the customers. None of this sitting with "regulars" flinging the BS. That's my opinion, I could be wrong.

Now that I've got that off my chest, the Hugger remains one of my favorite clubs for dancer quality and value. Toward the end of my 1-1/2 hour stay, I was able to attract the attention of a quiet little blond dancer who seemed rather reserved and out of place. I didn't have too many expectations as we walked to the lap dance area. But when she started in on me, my opinion about her changed completely. She gave me a fantastic lapper with full contact and my hands were allowed to roam at will. I didn't receive any complaints when my fingers landed on her bikini covered kitty. As usual I can't remember her name. During my next visit, I'll look for her again. But with my luck, she'll probably have a "regular" by then....

I highly recommend the Hugger. But as we all know, YMMV.
