Just moved to Seattle from San Francisco. I knew that the quality of clubs would generally be less but I was pleasantly surprised by Sands. The club is small and they don't have truly private booths (there is a smallish "VIP" room but you have to share the room with anyone else that gets a private dance). I was used to steep covers in SF so the two drink minimum didn't bother me. I did get annoyed with feeling obligated to buy a drink for every girl that came to talk to uninvited. I don't mind paying for good dances but buying sodas for $10 just for someone to try and sell me dances is annoying. Ok, on to the positive side. I had dances from 3 girls and they were all good. Lots more contact and grinding than I was expecting. With all 3 dances the girls got a lot more affectionate if I paid more for an extra song. I was never asked if I wanted any extras, which was more common in certain SF clubs, but without truly private booths I am guessing that extras don't really happen at Sands. Girls were fairly good looking. I probably would have given the club a better score were it not for having to buy drinks for the girls and that my evening was spoiled by one particular dancer that was drunk, smelly and would not leave me alone (needless to say I did not get a dance from her but she would not give up . . . Normally having a reasonably attractive person in lingerie continually grab my crotch would be a good thing but not so with this dancer). Not sure I will go back. I need to see the other clubs in town and see how they compare. Also, encountering that aggressive dancer again is not something I ever want to do. But the 3 dances I did get were really quite good.
