I have to admit that my visit to Centerfolds tonight was a bit disappointing. You definitely get jumped on as soon as you walk through the door. Don’t get me wrong, the girls were great; friendly and approachable, but I really just wanted to have a drink and watch some eye candy strip while dropping a few bucks at the tip rail. I guess Houston strip clubs are more about the interaction than the show because I had a similar experience six months ago at a different club in Houston. While Centerfolds is listed as a “topless” club, none of the girls on stage got truly topless. If they weren’t wearing titty tape, they were wearing nipple covers or the top did not come off while on stage. The two girls that I talked to showed me that they were not wearing the tape or the covers, but neither of them took off the top while performing. With that said, one of them told me that full nude did happen upstairs—but I wasn’t buying VIP—I just wanted the show tonight; My plan was to come back for VIP later in the week when I have time to party if I liked what I saw. However, I’m not going back to Centerfolds, me and my money are going to Legends when it’s time to party.
