Pirates Cove is over on the...

Pirates Cove is over on the east side of PDX on Sandy. I'd say it is probably known for its "unique" architecture than it is for the quality of its dancers. I don't mean to demean the place, it is just like many other clubs in Portland: a neighborhood bar which happens to have a couple of women dancing naked in it. The bartender was friendly, the clientele more interested in the bottom of their beers than the ladies and the layout is not made to feature the dancers. The drinks are cheap, I have no idea about the lappies, no dancers approached me. No great loss, though, I wouldn't rate any of the ladies over about a 6. Even the pirate theme is weakly done. If you are in the area and desperately want to avoid buying a beer at a normal bar, go ahead and stop in, if you want a strip club experience, spend your money (and time) elsewhere.
