Made another trip to the Mons,...

Made another trip to the Mons, this time on a Wednesday. Used to be that this club was awesome any day any time, but now seems good one day and bad another. This particular night it was only ok. Not many customers, maybe 15 - about the same number of dancers. The club is pretty basic, no plush chairs, no private or VIP area, no alcohol, $3 sodas, plenty of mirrors. Some nights the place is filled with 19 year beauty queens (and also packed with customers) but not this night. The dancers were in the 4-6 range. The nice thing is that there is almost no pressure for dances. The girls will ask you if you want a dance but don't bug you if you say no politely. The regular rate is $30 but on slower nights like this one, most of the girls will dance for $20 or $25. As always at Mons, the mileage is great - no problem there.

The club is easy to find - it's on a really wide very busy street. Parking is limited but no problem in the day time or on slower nights. Parking on the weekend can be a bitch so be prepared to walk a few blocks. The cover is $20 and the place is open until 4am or when all the customers leave. Despite the ups and downs I still like this place.
