Checked out the Brass Rail - no cover charge to get in, and no hassle on 'manadatory' drinks, but the waitress did make rounds asking if I needed another when it was clear I was still working on one. Not a major hassle, but notable. Drinks are spendy - $11.25 for a weak mixed drink or import beer - but I wasn't there for a value deal on alcohol.
Stage action was pretty good - standard 3 song sets with progressively more nudity all the way to nude. No major showstoppers on stage, and stage tipping seemed non-existent. I don't think I saw a single dollar put on stage for a dancer to collect the entire time I was there. Despite that, the dancers were pretty engaged and gave a decent stage show, but not as enthusiastic as I've seen at other SC's.
Got private dances from 2 dancers - $20/dance for a decent length song - not a true full song, but not as short as some SC's cut it. Decent mileage for the $$; first dancer went full nude right off the bat in song 1 and allowed very liberal exploration. No major upsell on the initial dance or to continue. A polite 'no thanks' after 2 was enough to end it gracefully. Second dancer was a fox and we had a great series of dances - again full nude pretty much right off, liberal exploration, and very casual on the upsell for more dances.
