Out-of-towner decided to check out the local scene. Online reviews rated this place the best in Milwaukee. Very disappointed. $12 cover on a thursday night at 8:30. There was a porn star feature but I left at 11 and she hadn't appeared. Place is large with a nice layout, and a V-shaped stage that juts far out into the seating area. But it smelled dank and there was a light haze throughout the place all night long from the smoke machine. Lighting was pretty bad which in this place is a good thing. This was apparently a VIP night where all the dancers show up and the top earners get prizes. There were 40-50 girls on so I think I got a good look at the overall talent. I wasn't impressed. Girls were at best average. Mostly white girls. Bring a change of clothes - cheap perfume and too much of it is the norm here. About 4 girls on stage at a time, for 3-4 songs duration. Needless to say I didn't get any private dances. Bartenders were ugly dudes in need of haircuts and a shave. There was a bathroom attendant so in effect you pay to take a leak. In general, the place was way overstaffed with attendants. They do the thing where once a night all the girls put on gowns and line up on stage simultaneously to "Girls, Girls, Girls" by Motley Crue. Most places I am familiar with stopped doing this a decade ago and nobody misses it. Music was hard rock including 80's hair metal. Drink prices were typical: $6 for a beer, $5 for a water. Did a double take when I got the water: looks like a shampoo bottle. Never got used to the local custom ("tip walk") where each girl comes off stage, approaches you at the bar and expects a tip. Most were OK if you declined, a few were nasty. I was the only one to approach the stage and tip a dancer, but those dancers then bypassed me during the "tip walk" and never approached me for a private dance. Can't figure that one out. To summarize - don't waste your time or your money. Places like this give strip joints a bad name. If this is the best place in Milwaukee, recommend driving to Chicago. The only positive things I have to say is the waitresses were cute and I wasn't charged an exit fee to leave.
